DERIVATIVE PSYCHOLOGY 

     Greetings! My name is Brandon Heal and I've been studying the relationship between psychology, physics and biology (both formally and informally) for the better part of a decade. I am currently living outside of Tokyo as an ESL teacher and will return to Portland, Oregon in the summer of 2015 to continue my education.

 

     Highly influenced by the works of Carl Jung, Douglas Hofstadter, Lyall Watson and Fritjof Capra, I'm constantly trying to innovate and improve strategies related to how we can responsibly engage the world and its inhabitants.

     

      I believe that imagination and creativity are two areas highly underdeveloped in academia and I am a firm believer in their role as 'regulators' in the process of self-actualization. Derivative Psychology has become my proudest accomplishments and is, I believe, the most effective way for an individual to address personal challenges in all issues related to the mind and its relationship to everything else.

 

     Knowledge of the self is something that nobody should keep behind a wall of prestige and would define myself as having more of a layman's philosophical resourcefulness and curiosity than classical training. I appreciate most methods, both sensible and far flung, and have refined the area of Derivative Psychology to a point that I feel is ready to be shared.

 

     Our group was unofficially formed in the fall of 2010 and we've been working hard to find a place among the ranks. Our strategies are purely mental, 1oo% natural and take advantage of the mental abilities we're already equipped with instead of railroading it with pharmaceuticals or ideological generalizations that threaten the whole of psychology today.

 

     Our aim is not only to help people rise above the hurdles life might throw at them, but gain an entirely new perspective on what it means to live. We are Derivators.
